From Tarot Cards to Dark Magic: The Surprising Variety of Offerings at the Bazaar of the Occult

By admin

The bazaar of the occult is an intriguing realm where the mystical and supernatural converge. It is a place where seekers of the unknown can immerse themselves in a myriad of esoteric items and experiences. Walking through the dimly lit corridors of the bazaar, one can encounter a plethora of curiosities. Shelves are filled with ancient tomes of forgotten knowledge, grimoires said to hold the secrets of spellcasting and divination. These books, bound in worn leather, seem to whisper tales of long-lost rituals and forbidden arts. Magical artifacts of all kinds are scattered throughout the bazaar, each with its own story and enchanted properties.

I inspire change makers to find their truth and change the world.

I’m at a point where people are asking me what I want. “What do you want to do now?” Is the most common version of this. I have four responses to this question. And they usually happen in about 30 seconds or less in my head.

When the world is falling apart around you and you're not sure where or how to have the most impact, look inward. As a queer kid who grew up in the 80-90's I was being force fed hatred, fear, punishment, bullying, and death by the world around me. ➜I HAD TO FIND MYSELF IN THE MIRE. With greater connection, our world view is even more expansive. And we layer what our families, connections, professional acquaintances, communities, countries, and the world push at us to ingest. It's so overwhelming - and no one person is going to change it all for the better. ➜CHANGE BEGINS WITH YOU. When you know your truth, you can lead in spite of everything. When you understand how you move best through the world, you can radiate the change you wish to see/be in the world. It's a ripple effect. It's easy to be stuck in your own patterns of belief. The stories you tell yourself. And the behaviors that have kept you safe for a long time. Having someone external to you can help pluck out those observations for your awareness, insight and transformation. I'll always have a question that opens new doors, ideas, and opportunities for you. It's my favorite thing to do. I believe in you and why you're here. I know you have a vision. I know you're struggling to be heard. I know that you want to make a difference. ➜I KNOW SOMETHING INSIDE OF YOU WANTS TO LEAVE THE WORLD A LITTLE BETTER THAN YOU FOUND IT. And you can. You're an evolving presence. Hannah Waddingham reminded us recently that Meryl Streep said some very wise words. "Women have learned the language of men. Have lived in the house of men, all their lives. Women speak men. But men don't speak women." ~MS Hannah added, "But now the time has come for them to learn the language of women. We have to choose to hold each other up. We have to choose to have each other's backs. We have to choose to make sure that people are brought along with us." ~HW I'm here for you if you need someone to hold you up. 'Cause I know you got people to bring with you.

I'm starting a research project: I'd like to understand how some people clearly know and live their value and worth. Who I'm looking to speak with and be introduced to: *Someone who has their heart (or will center) defined in their Human Design chart *Someone who has their heart (or will center) undefined in their Human Design chart and has come to learn their value and worth *Someone who makes you feel like you can do whatever you set your mind to *Someone who doesn't feel the need to prove their worthiness *Someone who has perseverance *Someone who has a healthy ego (or is working on same) *Someone who knows what is worth doing *Someone who knows who/what is worth loving (including themselves) *Someone who makes promises and keeps them

One of my greatest strengths is seeing your patterns and then breaking that pattern with an unseen truth that can break open everything. I had a great conversation yesterday about 3 (and what felt like a throw-away time filler to bring in money) job options for the person sitting across from me. All options were on the table in different ways. So, since the Generator person with me has a creative mindset, has an emotional inner-authority, and is a 6/2 (who's entering their 3rd phase) we had a conversation that was full of possibility, core mission, values, and realized a 4th option that hadn't occurred to them before. For that moment our work was done. The insight of what was possible had landed. Then the fear set in. "No one would hire me for that." "I struggle to even like the people who do that kind of work!" So I asked them to define the work - and then asked them, "But what if, instead if what you just described, you did it your way [insert those specifics from our convo here] with your skills and brought your whole self to the job?" Another look of insight dawning. And THEN we were done.

When I was first introduced to Tarot (as a gift!) in the '80's I knew my life was changed. I felt like I had access, I just needed to find the key. When Human Design crossed my path in the '90's I thout, Amazing! But not now. When HD came back to me in 2016 or so, I knew things were shifting again and I would never be the same. As my life continues to adapt to the shifting sands beneath me, I recognize that these tools are supportive of the human experience. They aren't the answer. But they are a way in to discovering who you are and meant be.

Whew! This week is going to be EXCITING! The energy is bringing you the opportunity to express your most authentic self in creative ways. You may find yourself at odds about how to put it all out there, but that doesn't really matter. If you can objectively be aware of the bigger picture - you're actually responding to the constant shifts in your environment. And, while you may not see it at the moment, this is a long term creative response. You're on the cusp of change, so KEEP GOING! Ground yourself in the innate knowing that there's no single defined reason for this creativity. It just feels as if it's the right thing. And the more you trust your inner sense of where to go, what to do, who to connect with, and what you're meant to put in to the world, the better. Let your freak flag fly and others will take notice. 🙌🏻 You might just even save the world. ❤️

Mani-Gens and Generators - if you aren't exhausting your body, you're missing out. Whatever it means for you to feel physically exhausted at the end of the day, make sure you get that in. I guarantee you'll be ready for tomorrow.

Who have you connected with today?

I inspire change makers to find their truth and change the world.

Happy Halloween from Chicago! You know what’s interesting? I’ve had full blown conversations with people today and they never noticed something was a little off. Connect with people. Truly see them. It’s an amazing gift.

IIDA IL Bizarre Bazaar 2022 - Call for Vendors!

Bazaar of the occult

The air in the bazaar is heavy with the fragrance of incense, creating an atmosphere that is simultaneously mystical and intoxicating. The scent of sandalwood, lavender, and sage mingle with the soft melodies of ethereal music, creating a sensory experience that transports visitors to another realm. Mysterious individuals roam the bazaar, their cloaks billowing behind them as they offer their knowledge and services. These are the practitioners and occult experts, versed in the ancient arts of astrology, palmistry, and alchemy. They provide guidance and interpretation, unravelling the secrets of the cosmos or helping individuals navigate the twists and turns of their lives. But the bazaar of the occult is not just a marketplace for wares and services. It is a meeting place for kindred spirits, a community of individuals connected by a shared fascination with the hidden and unknown. Here, conversations are filled with discussions of astral projection, past lives, and spiritual awakenings. Seekers find solace in the company of others who understand their yearning for enlightenment. As night falls, the bazaar takes on an otherworldly aura. Candles flicker, casting dancing shadows across the walls, and the air crackles with energy. It is during these hours that the true power of the occult seems to awaken, and the bazaar becomes a haven for those who wish to explore the depths of the supernatural. The bazaar of the occult is a place where the line between fantasy and reality blurs, where the mystical and the mundane intertwine. It is a realm where seekers delve into the realms of their imagination, exploring the possibilities of the supernatural. For those brave enough to venture into its depths, the bazaar offers a tantalizing glimpse into the unknown and an opportunity to tap into powers beyond the realms of ordinary existence..

Reviews for "Navigating the Bazaar of the Occult: Tips for First-Time Visitors"

- John - 2 stars - I found "Bazaar of the Occult" to be a disappointing read. The characters were one-dimensional and lacked depth, making it difficult to connect with them on any level. Additionally, the plot felt disjointed and poorly executed, leaving me confused and unsatisfied. Overall, I would not recommend this book to others.
- Emily - 1 star - "Bazaar of the Occult" failed to engage me from the start. The writing style was overly convoluted and hard to follow, making it a struggle to understand what was happening. The pacing was uneven, with long stretches of dull exposition followed by rushed action scenes that seemed out of place. The book lacked a cohesive narrative and left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
- Andrew - 2 stars - As a fan of occult-themed novels, I was excited to dive into "Bazaar of the Occult". However, the execution of the story fell flat for me. The world-building was minimal, and I never got a sense of the larger supernatural universe the author was trying to create. The dialogue felt stiff and unnatural, making it difficult to become invested in the characters or their struggles. Ultimately, the book lacked the depth and complexity I was hoping for and left me disappointed.
