One particular treasure handed over was a stone chest of 882 identical gold Aztec medallions which were cursed by the Aztec gods to curse whomever stole them to be undead and incapable of material sensations while revealed to be a hideous corpse in the moon-light. The only way to appease this curse was for the blood of all who participated in stealing the gold to be poured over the chest.

Another famous cursed treasure is the Hope Diamond. This legendary blue diamond is said to have brought misfortune and tragedy to all its owners. Many believe that the curse started with the diamond being stolen from the eye of a Hindu goddess statue. The diamond changed hands numerous times, and each owner experienced tragic events such as bankruptcy, illness, and even suicide. It is said that the only way to break the curse is to donate the diamond to a museum. The Curse of Treasures is often used as a cautionary tale, warning against the dangers of greed and materialism. It serves as a reminder that wealth and possessions should not be obtained at the expense of others or through illegal means. The curse is believed to be a form of karma or divine justice, ensuring that those who do not respect the rightful ownership of treasures suffer the consequences. In reality, cursed treasures are often attributed to strange coincidences and unfortunate events that befall their owners. These tales are often exaggerated and embellished over time, making it hard to determine the truth behind the curses. However, the concept of the Curse of Treasures continues to capture the imagination and serves as a reminder of the consequences of unethical behavior and the importance of valuing more than material wealth..

I was really looking forward to reading "Curse of treasures" but it fell short of my expectations. The story seemed to drag on without any major plot twists or surprises. The characters were underdeveloped and the dialogue felt forced. I found it hard to stay interested in the book and ended up skimming through the last few chapters.

I'm usually a fan of adventure novels, but "Curse of treasures" didn't quite hit the mark for me. The pacing was off, with too much time spent on insignificant details rather than moving the story forward. The main character lacked depth and the secondary characters felt like cardboard cutouts. The premise of the book was intriguing, but the execution was lacking. Overall, a disappointing read.
