After living in Shanghai for 3 years, I had been on the hunt for some delicious noodles! Even though they aren’t shanghainese noodles they are still pretty damn authentic to the shanxi province! We got the most ordered short rib with wide noodles , the spicy dumplings, and the minced beef with wide noodles. I’m from Phoenix and have not find anything comparable to this place. The service was fast and I loved that you could see them making all the food in the kitchen!

Food is always good but wait is too long and service is rough. Also, went the other day and the server didn't give me my credit card back. They kept saying they don't have it and they gave it to me so in checked every pocket and every crevice in my wallet 10 times. Looked all over and it was nowhere to be found. Got home and tried calling them to see if it turns up , so I wouldn't have to call the credit card company and cancel, but it was so loud there and the person couldn't understand English so if I finally gave up. Tried calling again the next day and they had found it. Had to drive over and pick it up. No apology throughout the whole thing.

This place serves delicious, amazing noodles! My favorite are the knife cut; they are so thick and chewy and delicious! I have tried quite a few things off their menu, and each one has been delicious! My favorite is the beef brisket noodle soup with knife cut noodles, it's delicious and hot and so comforting. You even get to watch them pull the hand-pulled noodles (which are also very delicious) which is so much fun and such a joy to watch. The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is small and cozy, but the door opens up and the outside temperatures can be rather overwhelming.

The only bad thing I have to say about this restaurant is it's crowded. So plan on waiting a little bit before being seated.
