Located in the lakeside Rest Haven community, the Tree Haus is offers the feeling of a remote getaway while still being close to town and all the local attractions. Downtown Whitefish is a short 10 minute drive - this picturesque downtown is known for its array of exciting restaurants and boutique shops. Summer months feature a weekly Farmer’s Market and various festival events. Positioned near the base of Big Mountain and right alongside Whitefish Lake, this home is an ideal vacation destination year-round. It is a 15 minute drive to the base lodge of Whitefish Mountain Resort where there are incredible winter and summer activities. Take in the lake views as you barbeque, dine, & relax outdoors. Enjoy your private hot tub during the cool Montana evenings. The modern, fully equipped kitchen features high-end appliances and has everything you need to prepare memorable meals to share with your group. - Karen - 2 stars - The description of the "Magical abode on Whitefish Lake" was incredibly misleading. The photos made it seem like a luxurious and spacious retreat, but in reality, it was a cramped and run-down cabin. The beds were uncomfortable, the kitchen appliances were outdated and barely functional, and there was a musty smell throughout the entire place. Not to mention, the lake view was obstructed by overgrown trees and bushes. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this property to anyone.
- John - 1 star - I can't express how disappointed I am with the "Magical abode on Whitefish Lake". The so-called magical experience turned out to be a nightmare. The place was dirty, with dusty furniture and stained carpets. The bathroom was in terrible condition, with a broken toilet and a leaky shower. The advertised amenities, such as a fireplace and outdoor seating area, were either non-existent or in such poor shape that they were unusable. Save yourself the trouble and find a different place to stay.

The furniture was old and uncomfortable, and the overall cleanliness was lacking. Additionally, the lack of proper lighting made it difficult to navigate around the property at night. This was not the magical getaway I was hoping for.
