Born in Detroit, Michigan, Mack grew up in a city that was at the forefront of the Motown sound. The fairways and tee boxes were all pretty much in "as expected" condition for the price point. Everything was cut tight, there were some problem spots but nothing that you wouldn't see anywhere else. The biggest issue were the greens and the bunkers. Some of the greens had bare spots/dirt/sand plaguing them, but you could tell the course is paying the right attention in an attempt to bring them back to full condition. Bunkers are likely going to need to be fully redone if they want to get a a mid $100 price point; none of them were playable while I was there.

Golfers understand they are in for something different from the very first hole at White Witch Golf Course, seemingly miles above the distant Carribean Sea which dominates the horizon, a reachable par-5 where the tee shot is launched from high to a distant downhill fairway, only to have the second shot climb nearly all the way back in altitude. The misleading component was that my golf now booking said the caddie fees were included but when I arrived they insisted that they were not included and I must pay.
