ROBBE: I’m gonna be for real, when I first put this shoe on, I was disappointed. Mainly because I thought this was supposed to be their “super shoe,” but of course, it isn’t (that’s the Metaspeed Sky). So it actually took me a couple weeks to come back to, just because I was disinterested. But then I put them on for a 4-mile run and found them to be quite enjoyable. Like, really, really enjoyable. In fact, I love this shoe.
Unfortunately, none of those details were on the spec sheet we received, so I had to do a little hillbilly wizardry to figure out how this shoe works. It s now as stiff as the Boston 11 and the Zoom Fly 5 but its midsole foam lacks liveliness compared to say the Endorphin Speed 3 with a PEBA midsole.

The midsole also provides excellent shock absorption, reducing the impact on the feet and legs during a run. The upper of the Magic Speed 1 is designed to be lightweight and breathable, keeping the feet cool and dry during intense running sessions.
