The Dallas Mavericks mascot, known as "Champ," is a popular and beloved figure in the world of basketball. Champ is a blue horse with a charismatic personality and a strong presence at Mavericks' games and events. Champ's origins can be traced back to the team's rebranding in 2001 when the horse was selected as the new team mascot, representing the spirit and energy of the Mavericks. One of the most recognizable aspects of Champ's appearance is his bright blue color, which matches the team's logo and uniforms. Reviews for "The Dallas Mavericks Mascot: Inspiring the Next Generation of Fans"

- Sara - 1 star - The Dallas Mavericks mascot is just absolutely ridiculous. It's a horse? I mean, what does a horse have to do with basketball? It just doesn't make any sense to me. And the costume is so cheesy and poorly made. It looks like it was made in someone's basement. I can't take it seriously and it just ruins the whole game experience for me.
- John - 2 stars - The Dallas Mavericks mascot is so distracting during the games. I just want to watch the basketball game, but this guy in a horse costume is constantly jumping around and making a fool of himself. It's just annoying and takes away from the actual sport. I wish they didn't have a mascot at all.
- Emily - 1 star - I honestly don't understand why the Dallas Mavericks have a mascot at all. It adds nothing to the game and just feels like a cheap attempt at entertainment. The energy and focus should be on the players and the game, not some silly mascot running around. It's a waste of time and money.
- Mark - 1 star - The Dallas Mavericks mascot is so outdated and corny. It's like they haven't updated their mascot since the 80s. It's embarrassing to watch and definitely doesn't fit with the modern and sleek image that the team is trying to portray. They should really consider getting rid of it and finding something more relevant and engaging.
