Okay, I personally don’t know much about it (out of fear of being disappointed by the media again), but here’s what I know so far…

Except that the differential is that in Shy , there is one Hero per each country, and Japan s Hero is a young girl named Momijiyama Teru, who is, well shy. You see, she has saved people from a malfunctioning rollercoaster except for only one person, and she develops PTSD because of this, and pairing that up with the harsh critics from the media doesn t help one bit.

I enchanted the mistaken girl and made her a magical girl

I apologize for being so late! I wasn’t feeling so well this weekend, so this tarot reading had to be done at the end of the day…

Now that I feel much better, here’s what I got for this week:

  • Eight of Coins (Pentacles);
  • Six of Chalices (Cups);
  • The Hermit.

Okay, I personally don’t know much about it (out of fear of being disappointed by the media again), but here’s what I know so far…

Shy is set in a world where Heroes are real, much like BnHA. Except that the differential is that in Shy, there is one Hero per each country, and Japan’s Hero is a young girl named Momijiyama Teru, who is, well… shy.

Teru, a.k.a. Shy, is still green. When the series starts, it has been three months since she started this hero business… and then she fails at it.

You see, she has saved people from a malfunctioning rollercoaster… except for only one person, and she develops PTSD because of this, and pairing that up with the harsh critics from the media doesn’t help one bit.

Most reviewers are praising this anime for its realistic and grounded portrayal of superheroes, which it’s quite rare, given to the existence of the MCU mostly; Teru is basically early-BnHA Midoriya Izuku, but with anxiety issues cranked up to eleven, and yet, she still does hero shit, despite being scared stiff.

It’s very Shounen-like, but it has Magical Girl-like elements thrown in the mix, making it an unique and fresh experience. So far, it looks promising, and I’ll be ultra-upset, if it doesn’t become as popular as BnHA is.
