This duo helped the team reach the NBA Finals in 1995 but ultimately lost to the Houston Rockets. Another era of success for the Magic came in the early 2000s with the arrival of superstar center Dwight Howard. During this time, the team made several deep playoff runs, including reaching the NBA Finals in 2009, but fell short of winning the championship.
