From Sustenance to Sacrament: The Sacred Solstice Food of Pagans

By admin

The solstice is a sacred time for pagans, and they celebrate it with special food. During this time, pagans believe that the sun is at its peak power, and they gather to honor and give thanks for the abundance that the sun provides. One of the most important aspects of this celebration is the food that is shared. The sacred solstice food of pagans is rich in symbolism and meaning. The main idea of sacred solstice food is to celebrate and give thanks for the bounty of the earth. Pagans believe that the turning of the seasons is a reflection of the cyclical nature of life, and by consuming the fruits and grains of the earth, they are participating in this cycle.

Processing Modes

Different types of images need different algorithms to best remove their backgrounds. Clipping Magic automatically detects what type of image you are working on and selects the appropriate Processing Mode.

Photo Mode

Clipping Magic's normal Photo Mode works great on a wide variety of photographs of real-world subjects. Photo Mode is the default catch-all mode and is available on all images.

Clip Tip:

If you only clip photos, you can disable the automatic selection of the other modes.

Graphics Mode

Logos and other computer-generated artwork, especially small font text, can benefit greatly from Graphics Mode.

In Graphics Mode, Clipping Magic identifies the various flat colors present in your image. Marks applied to these colors then affect the entire image, not just the region marked. This makes it a lot easier to remove flat backgrounds from graphics with lots of details where you may otherwise have had to mark a lot of little color pieces.

Scan Mode

Scans and photographs of written or printed materials also receive special treatment by Clipping Magic.

This mode is well suited to images with a relatively constant background color (e.g., white paper), and only a small number of foreground colors. On images that match the that description, Scan Mode is able to tease out far more detail, even on tiny scribbles.

Changing Modes

The Processing Mode is automatically selected for you, but may be changed using the Mode Selection widget in the right-hand sidebar:

Graphics and Scan Modes are only available for suitable images.

Clip Tip:

If you only clip photos, you can disable the automatic selection of the other modes.
