This photo captures the moment that I was handed the reins and succeeded David Newell as our 7th Managing Director at Endress+Hauser United Kingdom - a proud memory, which included my uncle and president of our Supervisory Board, Klaus Endress, our CEO Matthias Altendorf, our then CSO Niko Krueger and my dad who too had served as MD in the UK. Now 6 years on, I’m delighted to announce that I’m soon to take on a new challenge, joining our Group’s Supervisory Board with a view to bringing further stability and continuity from a family perspective. As I reflect, it’s fair to say that these past 6 years have not been easy, with everything but the kitchen sink being thrown at me and my colleagues. It’s also correct however, that I have learnt a great deal and had fun working with some of the most amazing and talented people imaginable. From May this year, my fellow Board associate Iain Cropper succeeds me, bringing 21 years’ experience with him. I wish Iain and all my friends at Endress+Hauser good luck - an exciting new chapter lies ahead!

Reviews for "From Illusion to Reality: Understanding the Mind's Magical Influences"

1. Sarah - 2 stars: I have to say, I was really disappointed with "The Magic in Your Mind". The book promised to unlock the secrets of the mind and help with personal development, but it fell flat. The author provided very generic advice that I had already heard a hundred times before. The examples and exercises given were also shallow and ineffective. Overall, I found the book to be a waste of time and money. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for meaningful insights into the power of their mind.
2. John - 1 star: I honestly couldn't stand "The Magic in Your Mind". The writing style was dry and uninspiring, and the content felt repetitive and unoriginal. It seemed like the author was just rehashing basic self-help concepts without adding anything new or unique. I also found the book to be poorly organized and difficult to follow. There are much better books out there for personal development and harnessing the power of the mind. Save your money and skip this one.
3. Emily - 2 stars: "The Magic in Your Mind" was a letdown for me. The author claimed to provide practical techniques for transforming your mindset, but I found the book to be vague and lacking in actual strategies. The examples provided were not relatable, and it felt like the author was speaking in generalities rather than providing actionable advice. I was hoping for more depth and practicality, but unfortunately, this book didn't deliver. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a more insightful and effective resource on personal growth.
4. Mark - 2 stars: "The Magic in Your Mind" had some interesting ideas, but ultimately it failed to impress me. The book was filled with fluff and filler content that could have been condensed into a much shorter read. The author seemed more interested in repeating themselves than providing new insights or actionable steps. I also found the writing style to be dry and lacking in passion. Overall, I was left feeling underwhelmed and unimpressed with this book.
