The wave of hysteria that spread through Salem in response to this led to more than two hundred people being accused of being witches. 30 were found guilty, and 19 of those people were executed. With something so terrible in its history, it's no surprise to hear that Salem, Massachusetts is now considered to be one of the most haunted places in the United States.
