Disneyland Christmas Entertainment 2023 Style
After a teaser released during “Halfway to the Holidays” week, Disney has let us know the full details of holiday entertainment and events at Disneyland. This year’s Disneyland holiday season will run from Nov. 10, 2023 to Jan. 7, 2024 and will feature parades, food, nighttime spectaculars, and the return of seasonal ride overlays. Mickey and his friends will be wearing all-new outfits in Disneyland Park to celebrate the season. Santa will also be visiting and you can pose for photos with him through December 24. There will be holiday shopping and dining in Downtown Disney, and live musical performances at the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage. The hotels will be all dressed up and will also feature live entertainment on select nights. As you might expect, most of the holiday celebrations will focus on the parks.
Mickey’s Happy Holidays
In Disney California Adventure, Disney’s Festival of Holidays returns. Food from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and seasonal traditions including Christmas, Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day will be featured, and this year entertainment expands to the Hollywood Backlot. In addition to music and dance performances, Disney and Pixar characters join the Holiday Toy Drummers in Mickey’s Happy Holidays street party.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad!
© DisneyIt’s not just the Festival booths that will be serving up holiday menus; this year you can taste your way through an all-new menu at Paradise Garden Grill. Folklórico, samba, and other traditional Latin American dances and instruments will join Mickey and Minnie in their holiday best for the ¡Viva Navidad! street party, one of several festivities that include live music and dancing in the Paradise Gardens Park area. Several Disney characters will also make special appearances, including Mirabel from “Encanto”.
Festive Ride Reimaginings and Other Decor
Of course you’ll know it’s winter when Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle appears, with glistening icicles and snow-kissed turrets. The Gingerbread House will return to the Grand Californian, Christmas Trees will be everywhere, and “snow” will fall nightly in Disneyland Park.

I had a terrible experience at Magic Village Resort in Kissimmee. Firstly, the check-in process was chaotic and disorganized, with a long wait and no clear instructions. The rooms were not properly cleaned, with dirty floors and sheets that looked like they hadn't been changed in a while. The resort also lacked basic amenities such as a functioning fitness center and a well-maintained pool area. Overall, I was highly disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this place to anyone.

My family and I stayed at Magic Village Resort in Kiswimmee and we were quite disappointed. The service was subpar, with staff members being unresponsive and unhelpful. The villa we stayed in was not up to our expectations, with uncomfortable beds and a lack of essential kitchen utensils. We also encountered several maintenance issues during our stay, including a leaking faucet and a broken air conditioning unit. While the location of the resort is good, the overall experience was far from enjoyable. We won't be returning.

The cleanliness of the villa was below average, with sticky countertops and dirty linens. The resort amenities were also lacking, with a small pool that was crowded and unclean. The noise level in the resort was also a major issue, with thin walls that allowed us to hear every conversation and sound from neighboring villas. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality and service of this resort and would not recommend it.
