Once upon a time real estate people and wannabe big business investors told us we were moronic for not paving right over our beautiful green space for more development and we were ridiculous for not leasing out a huge corner piece of our building to a tenant and instead keeping it for ourselves. Kristina, (remember–see about us page–a legend in her own mind and like 5 others), knew they were in fact idiots and that she would take a big gamble on open space and a large portion of her building not rented out, and Tenant E and the garden space for events were born. She had a vision of a rustic arbor under which couples could be married and then a sophisticated, thoughtfully forward-thinking designed space in which guests could enjoy a reception or any important and endearing occasion. Another goal was to offer an affordable space (yeah we’ve seen some of the hefty prices out there). We have never marketed this space, instead leaving it to the best kind of marketing, positive experiences, and word-of-mouth recommendations. We are pretty damn proud of this beautiful space that has already hosted incredibly momentous occasions for so many beautiful people, and now, 7 years and 80,000 questions later, we are finally adding it to our website. Our sweet spot for guests is 50-75 people but we also have larger options if we shut down the restaurant. - Sarah - 2 stars - The Occult event space wasn't what I expected at all. The atmosphere was so eerie and unsettling, I couldn't enjoy myself. The decorations were creepy and seemed out of place, and the overall vibe was just off-putting. I couldn't wait to leave and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't enjoy horror or occult themes.
- Mark - 1 star - I had a terrible experience at the Occult event space. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and the organization of the event was a disaster. The whole place felt dirty and neglected, and there were even some maintenance issues. It was far from the magical and mystical experience I had hoped for. Save your money and look for a different event space.

The "occult" elements were tacky and overdone, and it felt more like a cheap Halloween party than a sophisticated event. The drinks and food options were limited and not worth the price. I was disappointed and wouldn't go back.
