Kipper the Dog: The Magic Act Kipper, the friendly and playful dog, always loved going on adventures with his friends Tiger, Pig, and Arnold. One sunny afternoon, while they were all playing in the park, they stumbled upon a flyer for a magic show. Curiosity sparked among the group, and they decided to attend the show that evening. As the sun began to set, Kipper and his friends eagerly made their way to the theater. The stage was set with colorful curtains, sparkling lights, and an assortment of magical props. The magician, Mr.

This was, of course, the self-branded “Capitalist Games,” where the pomp began to outweigh the circumstance. There was all sorts of nationalistic propaganda on display, like this Wild West song and dance routine depicting our history of settler colonialism but played as fun. The spectacle also included over 1,000 volunteers holding large five-foot balloons with ribbons displaying the word “Welcome” in over 100 languages. The great Etta James performed, leading a 300 member gospel choir in singing “When the Saints Go Marching In” and an 85 piano orchestra with 200 dancers performing George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.” The saints, apparently, were marching in for a funeral. They even had a guy in a jet pack.

Bomber was, like all too many, a transplant to LA who paid the price for being at the wrong place at the wrong time, much like many find themselves collateral damage in the Olympics brutal, unaccountable wake. It took Los Angeles over twenty years to improve the air quality to reach an acceptable level, just as wildfires, climate change, and a sustained addiction to oil and gas are creating unsafe levels to sustain human life for much longer, let alone outdoor sporting events.

Whiskers pulling a rabbit out of a hat, which astounded the audience. Kipper watched with wide eyes as he saw the rabbit disappear and reappear in various unexpected places. He was fascinated by the world of magic, and the thought of performing tricks himself crossed his mind. After the show, Kipper approached Mr. Whiskers and asked if he could teach him a trick or two. Mr. Whiskers was delighted at Kipper's enthusiasm and agreed to teach him a simple magic act. Over the next few days, Kipper practiced diligently. Mr. Whiskers showed him how to make objects appear and disappear, levitate, and even perform mind-reading tricks. Kipper's friends were equally excited and joined in on the practices. Finally, the day arrived when Kipper was ready to perform his magic act. They decided to host a small show in the park for their families and friends. Kipper put on his top hat and carried a magic wand, just like Mr. Whiskers. As the performance began, Kipper wowed the audience with his tricks. With the help of his friends, he made scarves vanish into thin air, pulled a toy mouse out of Arnold's ear, and even made a flower bloom from an empty pot. The crowd cheered and clapped, amazed at the tricks Kipper had learned. Kipper was overjoyed with the success of his magic act. He realized that not only had he learned a new skill, but he had also brought happiness and wonder to those around him. From that day on, Kipper and his friends continued to explore the world of magic, always creating memories and making people smile with their magical adventures..
