What could be the physics behind witches flying on broomsticks?

Using our world's physics, how could one explain the mechanics behind a witch on a broomstick? Not just the propelling part, but even the most basic fact - sitting on a broomstick - seems problematic: The center of gravity of human body is far above the broomstick, so within a second, a witch would just turn flying upside down (making landings very painful among other problems).

$\begingroup$ With a bit of practice & balance I think sitting on the broomstick itself wouldn't be too difficult - after all, you can often see people sitting on railings. $\endgroup$

$\begingroup$ With railings you normally have something to put your feet against to balance with. Harry potter broomsticks have footrests and they lie down against the stick with their feet in the footrests. That makes it all seem much more reasonable. $\endgroup$

$\begingroup$ The "physics" involved are essentially neurochemistry and how the hallucinogenic substance smeared on the broom handle (FWIW I thought it was made from datura not cannabis) generate a sensation of flying in the brain. $\endgroup$

Reviews for "Protect Your Skin from Harmful UV Rays with Il Makiage Magic Sun Mousse"

1. Jessica - 2 out of 5 stars - I really wanted to love the Il makiage magic sun mousse, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me. The texture of the mousse was great and it applied smoothly, but it left a greasy residue on my skin that didn't absorb well. Plus, the scent was overpowering and gave me a headache. I also noticed that it made my skin breakout after a few uses. Overall, I was disappointed with this product and wouldn't recommend it to others.
2. David - 1 out of 5 stars - I had high hopes for the Il makiage magic sun mousse, but it fell short of my expectations. The mousse was difficult to apply evenly and left streaks on my skin. Additionally, it didn't provide the level of sun protection that I was looking for. I ended up getting a sunburn after spending only a short amount of time outdoors. I also found the mousse to be quite greasy and it didn't absorb well into my skin. Overall, I was very disappointed with this product and wouldn't purchase it again.
3. Megan - 3 out of 5 stars - The Il makiage magic sun mousse had a nice texture and was easy to apply, but it didn't live up to the "magic" claims. While it provided some sun protection, I found that I still got a slight sunburn after spending a few hours outside. Additionally, the mousse felt a bit heavy on my skin and didn't fully absorb, leaving a greasy residue behind. It also had a strong scent that I didn't particularly enjoy. Overall, it was an okay product, but I don't think I would repurchase it.
