There’s something about magic wands and spells that have a universal appeal defying age. So when Magic Mixies Magical Misting Crystal Ball landed on our doorstep, it was no surprise that both my 13-year-old and 5-year-old were enthralled by what was hiding beneath the enchanted crystal ball that beckoned their swish and flick.

With an $84.99 MSRP and a frequent sale price around $60, I thought the toy was moderately priced but the real value of anything of course, is how well it sustains the twinkle in a kiddo’s eye.

From the get-go, Magic Mixie definitely has the “wow” appeal, partly because mystery toys and blind bags are so in right now, and this appeared to be the ultimate surprise since it's up to the kids to summon the pet stuffy from its slumber.

Blink also allows Amaterasu to perform advanced maneuvers such as "blink-melee," where she uses the ability to teleport immediately behind an enemy and deliver a devastating melee attack. Amaterasu also has the ability to Recall, which is a unique ability that allows her to instantly travel back in time. When activated, Recall restores Amaterasu's health and position to what they were a few seconds prior, effectively undoing any damage she may have taken. This ability not only gives her an incredible survivability but also allows skilled players to pull off clutch plays and escape seemingly impossible situations. Finally, Amaterasu's ultimate ability is known as Pulse Bomb. When activated, Amaterasu throws a sticky explosive onto an enemy or surface, which then detonates after a short period of time. The explosion deals massive damage to all nearby enemies, making it a devastating tool for clearing out grouped-up enemies or securing crucial kills. Overall, Amaterasu is an incredibly versatile and powerful hero in Overwatch. Her abilities and playstyle require a high level of mechanical skill and game sense to master, but in the hands of a skilled player, she can be a game-changer. Whether it's flanking the enemy backline, harassing squishy supports, or sticking a clutch Pulse Bomb to secure a team fight win, Amaterasu is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield..

- Sarah - 1 star - I really did not enjoy "The witch tracer amaterasu". I found the plot to be confusing and hard to follow. The characters were one-dimensional and lacked depth, making it difficult for me to connect with them. The pacing was also off, with the story dragging in some parts and rushing through others. Overall, I was disappointed with this book and would not recommend it.
