Bought this exact same set from Canadian Tire in September for $29

It works as advertised. Extra cups are useful. Smaller cup is great for sauces, salsa, guac.

But fair warning, it's loud AF. I guess it's no louder than a Vitamix or whatever. But morning smoothies may wake the home.

How powerful is it? It is good for making smoothie from frozen fruits?

Nice. I have a vitamix, but got this too for easier small blending and less cleaning

Having had one for about 20 years now (the same one!) I find that they don't have enough power for a good smoothie. you will still have some frozen chunks.

Wow. my ridges on the bottom of the blender cutter got chewed up and rendered it useless.

Cheaper to buy a new system than replace the ridges.

Hubby uses ours every few days to make oat milk. It's powerful enough to pulverize the raw oats and to mix up all the ingredients before straining. It's a very convenient device for sure!

If I had more time, I would have written a shorter post

What do you guys think in comparison to this one that's also on sale for $20. 300 watt motor and better reviews:

A coffee grinder with a blade attached, along with lots of accessories.
I can blend a cup of something in under 30 seconds, maybe even including clean up!

Watch the old infomercials still on YouTube and you'll have to own one, especially when it's under $25.
80% of these now are probably sold between now and Christmas.

Of course, you'll own others too, but it's just fun to use and ultra-quick.
No, it can't chop granite, or blend cement.
It's $20.

I think Starfrit is a better buy. It has two speeds vs 1 in Magic bullet and has a bit powerful motor. The only downside is it comes with one container only. I would go with Starfrit to be honest.

I believe we got one for $29 too but it crapped out less than a year in.

I just bought the starfrit and it sucks big time. The mixer isn't powerful enough to fully mix everything, especially at the top (if you mix protein powder) and it gets stuck. Also frequently the rubber seal comes off and gets tangled up in the blade. causing a leak and a huge mess.

Yeah I am on my second one. It actually does a pretty good job blending but after a year or two the bottom gets stripped out or it starts to leak around the seal of the rotating blade piece. The leak is miniscule but more concerned with fine plastic shavings getting in. Any recommendations on a better unit?

Depends on the fruits and how frozen.

Have little issues with blueberries, raspberries, mangoes.

Strawberries? Less luck.

Amazing device for an amazing price. I don't need one as mine still works perfectly after 10+ years. Same model. Recommended.
PS: Using it as well to make parmesan flakes from big chunks for recipes. Delicious when baked.

This is a great price! My family uses our Magic Bullet twice a morning for breakfast smoothies (frozen fruit, nuts, greek yogurt, etc). It'll eventually break but considering how often we use it, worth the price.

Reviews for "Anna Taylor Joy: The Witch Who Casts a Spell on Hollywood"

1. John - 2/5 stars - I found "The Witch" to be a disappointing film. The story was slow-paced and confusing, and I struggled to connect with any of the characters. Any potential scares were lost in the convoluted plot, and I found myself bored and uninterested throughout most of the movie. Overall, I was highly disappointed and would not recommend this film to others.
2. Sarah - 3/5 stars - While I didn't hate "The Witch," I also didn't love it. The movie had an interesting concept, but the execution fell flat for me. The slow pacing made it difficult for me to stay engaged, and the lack of clear explanations left me confused about many aspects of the story. Additionally, I didn't find the scares particularly effective, and the ending was underwhelming. Overall, it was an average at best horror film that failed to captivate me.
3. Mark - 2/5 stars - "The Witch" felt like a wasted opportunity. The acting was solid, particularly Anya Taylor-Joy's performance, but the story lacked substance. The slow pace made it difficult for me to stay interested, and I found myself losing patience as the film progressed. The lack of clear resolution and excessive ambiguity left me feeling unsatisfied. While the film had potential, it ultimately didn't deliver, and I wouldn't recommend it to others.
4. Emily - 2/5 stars - I was expecting something truly terrifying from "The Witch," but it ended up being a disappointment for me. The slow pace dragged on, and the story lacked a clear direction. I found the constant use of old English language to be distracting and made it harder for me to connect with the characters. The scares were minimal, and the film relied too heavily on atmospheric tension, which just didn't work for me. Overall, "The Witch" failed to live up to the hype for me, and I wouldn't recommend it to fellow horror enthusiasts.
