It was a relatively nice day for embarkation from Galveston, but I had waited too late to book our customary EZ Cruise parking showed full online and we ended up at Discount Cruise Parking on Harbourside right off I-45. Rates for this cruise were a little lower than other weeks in the late winter early spring time period and we took advantage of that fact to book an aft wrap on deck 6.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying in a Carnival Majic Premium Vista Balcony room and it was extremely disappointing. The room was cramped and dated, with old furniture and a musty smell. The balcony was barely big enough for two people to stand on and offered no privacy at all. The bathroom was also in need of updating and the shower had weak water pressure. Overall, it was not worth the extra money for the "premium" vista balcony and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I was really looking forward to my stay in the Carnival Majic Premium Vista Balcony room, but I was left feeling underwhelmed. The room itself was average, nothing special, and definitely not worth the upgrade cost. The balcony was small and offered a limited view of the ocean. The furniture on the balcony was worn out and uncomfortable, so we didn't spend much time out there. Additionally, the noise from the neighboring rooms and hallways was quite loud and disrupted our sleep. I expected more from a premium room and was disappointed by the overall experience.
