i just bought a barn and enclosed it with stakes. i planted a number of grass seeds..do you need to water the grass every day for it to keep growing? because i live far away from my barn and it is very annoying lugging the watering can back and fourth. also..
you i live on the ocean side but my barn is river side. am i supposed to buy a house by the river or evryday just walk upward to get there?
you don't have to water grass, it just takes a bit to grow.
The only thing to get rid of it is hurricanes and winter. So you will need to plant more next spring.
Umm, the house thing, you can buy another house there but walking is fine. You do know there is a shipping bin in the barn and chicken coop right?
Oh, also the river side is the best place to plant crops unless you have unlocked fertilizer.

About the grass, My advice is to not water it. It will grow by it self(not as fast) and if it rains it will be watered.
About the barn, I suggest you plant crops by the river and have the barn on the ocean. You will make much more money by planting in the fertile soil, and with the barn you will have more room in the ocean spot. Also as a tip, use rocks instead of wood. The wood stakes will rot away, but the stone will always be there.
It is truely up to you. Your house can be wherever you like it best or what is easiest for you. ^-^
