The addition of water released camphor oil, singed pine branches and menthol cigarettes while to taste, we found ourselves at the breakfast table with toasted honey granola, Alpen muesli, peat-smoked Lorne sausage along with grapefruit and tomato juice. But be aware, billows of damp smoke still lurked in the finish.
