Magic Land Harrison Now Open
Harrison families looking for some fun can find it at Magic Land! This brand-new indoor children’s play place — for children of all abilities — is located at 10501 New Haven Road. The play spot boasts four play houses (perfect for pretend play), a giant sand pit and a slide and ball pit. Parents can relax and enjoy a coffee and snack from the small café while kiddos play in Open Play (every day except Saturday). In addition, Zumbini classes are available for kids at $15 a pop and birthday party bookings are taken for weekend slots.
Magic Land’s aim is to be a play center especially for young children of all abilities. In keeping the space pristine, all play participants must wear socks at all times. Special sensory playtimes are sometimes available (check the calendar on the website or follow their Facebook page for the most current info). For Open Play, the cost is $12.94 for one hour. Each additional child added in your group is an additional $10.78.

1. Karen - 1 star - This place was a nightmare! The staff at Magic Land Family Daycare were rude and inattentive. My child came home with bites and scratches on several occasions, and when I brought it up to the staff, they brushed it off and blamed it on other kids. The facility was also dirty and poorly maintained. I wouldn't recommend this daycare to anyone who actually cares about the well-being of their child.
2. Mark - 2 stars - I had high hopes for Magic Land Family Daycare, but I was sorely disappointed. The daycare seemed chaotic and disorganized, with no real structure or routine for the children. The staff didn't seem to have control over the kids, and there was a lot of yelling and crying. My child didn't seem to enjoy their time there at all. The whole experience was just not what I expected or hoped for.

The staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed, which resulted in a lack of individual attention and care for the children.
