Yes, it’s a neutral palette, and you already know how I feel about neutrals. 🙂 I love them. But this one isn’t #basic. It’s filled with pink, plum and taupe, with a dash of gold and copper.
Like the shadows in the Rainforest of the Sea eye palettes, these are semi-creamy, but an infinitesimal amount less wet…
I was going to say “moist,” but you know my stance on that word.
Anyway, the creamy texture makes them incredibly smooth and easy to blend, and that in turn makes them FUN and great for fast eye looks. FYI, though, they aren’t the most pigmented shadows on the block. They’re on the sheer side, which is another reason I like them, because I’m perpetually in a hurry.
If you like them but crave more color, you can turn up their intensity by applying them with a finger.
I love this color combination.
I REALLY like that I can sloosh a few of these colors on my lids, do some half-@ssed blending, and have it turn out OK. That’s a major plus in my book.

The darkest shade, by the way, is a deep plummy brown that looks SO pretty as a liner all by itself, or layered on top of a purple pencil liner like MAC Prunella. Those two are so bomb together.
Using the dark plum shade as a liner on top of a black pencil is totes key here.
It’s flat-out gorge-gina on top of black pencil. The black makes it look more complex and deeper.
It’s lazy-girl approved and gets two very enthusiastic thumbs up from me. ??

1. Sarah - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Magic tilt trailer I rented. The trailer was outdated and looked like it hadn't been maintained in years. The brakes were faulty and I felt unsafe driving with it. Additionally, the trailer was too small for my needs and I ended up having to make multiple trips. Overall, not a great experience and I would not recommend Magic tilt trailers.
2. John - 1 star - Magic tilt trailers are overpriced and not worth the money. I rented one for a weekend trip and it was a disaster. The trailer was dirty and had a strong odor. The tie-down straps were worn out and I had to buy new ones. The whole rental process was also a hassle with no clear instructions on how to return the trailer. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for trailer rentals.
3. Amanda - 2 stars - I had a terrible experience with Magic tilt trailers. The trailer they provided was in terrible condition - the tires were nearly bald, the lights didn't work, and there were dents and scratches all over. It felt like they didn't put any effort into maintaining their equipment. On top of that, the customer service was rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend Magic tilt trailers to anyone.
4. Mark - 1 star - I rented a Magic tilt trailer and it broke down halfway through my trip. It was a complete disaster. I had to wait for hours for roadside assistance and had to find alternative means to continue my journey. The trailer was old and clearly not well-maintained. I will never use Magic tilt trailers again and would advise others to steer clear as well. Terrible experience overall.
