I've read the books several times, and am currently listening to them for the first time. I'm on Fool Moon, and something I never really thought about before jumped at me this time around.
First off, the Curse. Now, supposedly, Saint Patrick cursed an ancestor of Harley Macfinn with the curse of the Loup Garou, and a part of the curse is that it prevents the family line from ever completely dying out. This way, one family member will always have the curse. This is where things get interesting.
Why would a Saint, curse someone to become a ravenous, unstoppable monster on the full moon? A Saint, by definition, would derive their power from faith in God, so we would have to assume that there are "good intentions" from this curse. But what? It also seems like something that requires a lot of power to pull off, so most likely he had help from an Angel. This whole thing seems Old Testament, plagues, droughts, fire and floods.

Which brought me to my second thought, since Harley Macfinn dies . Who has the curse? There are your obvious guesses, some other Macfinn, a niece, nephew, etc. But the fun guess would be Harley Macfinns child with Tera West.
What child you ask? The Theoretical one I made up. Think about it. How cool would that be? Tera West is implied to be a wolf that learned to shift into a human. Macfinn was a Human cursed to turn into a near indestructible monster of a wolf. Their child, would be. full of possibilities.
It could also be a link back to the first question, why the curse. We know Uriel is "Heavens Spook". Maybe this was his plan, to recruit an unstoppable wolf/human/loup garou amalgamation to fight on his team during the Apocalyptic Trilogy Jim has promised us.
