Surviving the Wicked Witch's Wrath: Northern Region's Stories of Resilience

By admin

The wicked witch from the northern region is believed to be one of the most powerful and fearsome witches in the land. Known for her dark powers and malevolent nature, she strikes fear into the hearts of all who cross her path. Legend has it that the wicked witch hails from a remote and desolate part of the northern region. Surrounded by ancient forests and treacherous mountains, her lair is said to be hidden deep within the wilderness, making it nearly impossible to find. It is said that the wicked witch possesses a wide array of dangerous spells and curses, which she uses to torment and manipulate the unsuspecting victims who dare to challenge her. Her magic is said to be dark and twisted, fueled by her own desires for power and control.

Amplify Magic is a mage utility buff. The opposite of Dampen Magic, it increases the healing a target group member takes from each healing spell, but also increases the amount of damage the target takes from each enemy spell.

For example, a healer casting a heal on a target buffed with Amplify Magic rank 6 will have the same effect as if he had 240 more healing on his gear. The opposite of Amplify Magic, it decreases the amount of damage the target takes from each enemy spell, but also decreases the healing a target group member takes from each healing spell.

Her magic is said to be dark and twisted, fueled by her own desires for power and control. Many tales have been told about the wicked witch's cruelty and wickedness. She is said to take pleasure in causing suffering and chaos, with no regard for the consequences of her actions.

I know M Amp gives you flat max attack damage, but I didn't seen any topic talking about what would more worthwhile having. Let's say you have an equipment with +10 M Amp and another with +10 INT, which one would be the best ?

Or to be even more precise, 10 INT would be equivalent to how many MAmp ? It doesn't have to be exact values, any relevant info will help.

You get a random value up to your M.Amp stat every hit, so on average it's worth roughly half of M.Atk.

As in, 10 INT = 10 M.Atk = 10 magic damage
10 M.Amp = 0-10 M.Atk = 0-10 magic damage
or 0+1+2+. +10 = 55 /11 = 5 on average

If it's 10 INT vs 20 M.Amp, I would still take the INT since it's more reliable, but neither is the wrong choice. It all depends if it reduces how many casts you need to kill the same mobs or not.

When to use Dampen Magic: On a fight with a steady stream of magic damage, such as the Twin Val'kyr or Dampen Magic on the entire raid; it will vastly reduce damage taken, making healing much easier. Usually beneficial on the DPS and Healers. Don't use Dampen Magic if there are relatively few magic damage hits, or if there is a good reason to use Amplify Magic.
