I have Simonis 860HR cloth which is blue on my GC table. I use blue magic chalk on my cue. It’s very strange but the chalk residue actually turns black on my table.
Can someone explain why blue chalk turns black?

Taom is kinda of strange in that way, Ive had some miscue problems but very little, I just make sure I chalk regularly and I get plenty of grip and spin. I cant explain why but when I Blue Magic or regular Masters the chalk dust would show up darker that my Tournament blue cloth.
Once I changed to Sky blue Masters the problem was gone. Sky blue Master is harder to find but the price is about the same, try it!

Never had that happen, but I use to use masters and I was cleaning the table a lot, and the balls. I switched to Taom pyro, I never will go back, at least at the house lol. Masters is great just more messy than Taom, with Taom the ball stays clean and so does the table. Ive heard great things about magic chalk, but if your having issues with cleanliness I can highly recommend Taom pyro.

I agree with all your points in regards to Taom Pyro chalk, except that I thought I miscued more. Perhaps operator error, but I’ve miscued considerably less since switching to Exceed chalk - very similar but not nearly as clean.

I kept hearing about how much cleaner this chalk was, and it pretty much sounded like bunk. Chalk is chalk, right?

I got sick enough of having black hands that I decided to take some pyro for a test drive to see for myself and. it really is that much cleaner. It's all I allow on my table now. I keep cubes for guests to use.

Yes, the price is a bit out of line, but it's worth it in my opinion. My hands are never dirty while playing anymore. As for miscues, I notice no difference between Master, Magic, or Pyro (the only chalks I've used in the last 5 years+).

Taom Pyro is great and i use it but it won´t work good with hard tips. Taom should have new chalk soon. That should be same but fix that problem with hard tips not have enough grip with Pyro. If you use softer tips Pyro is great.

I know Taom guys personally and they know about Pyro not working with some tips. That why they have been trying to improve it even more and i think that took almost 2 years.. They have it done but it is not on market yet.

Yeah some layered tips get glue exposed and Taom Pyro is made so it wont stick good on hard surfaces(i.e Balls). So what i noticed if u hit with Pyro between layers(where might be some glue exposed) spot u can miscue easier.

The problem with that is that all layered tips regardless of their hardness rating eventually become considerably harder with usage.

I actually use Silver Cup at home and ran into the same problem. The darker blues leave horrible marks, the lighter blue just dissappears.

If you go there website you'll see they have Blue, Electric Blue, Powder Blue, Navy Blue, Royal Blue, . I honestly don't know what I have, but the box that came with my table was clearly a darker blue so when I switched over to Simonis I instantly noticed it and started using Master chalk I had laying around. Eventually, I picked up a box that matched, but not sure what color it is.

Here's a quick screen-shot of the two different colors of Master:

One of my local rooms opened with Tournament Blue cloth using regular Master Blue chalk and got dark smudges all over the cloth. They immediately switched to Sky Blue and haven't had any problems since.

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that ping.

Masters is surprisingly good chalk, especially if you know how to properly apply chalk and know how to maintain your tip. I always figured Masters was junk as it was everywhere in bars and even cheapskate places. I've tried several chalks and Masters performs as well or better than most. The only downside is it's DIRTY. So much chalk dust. Taom Pyro is super clean. Less chalk in the cloth, less oddities from dirty balls etc. Russian Magic Chalk is also a great chalk. Other than that, I've not really found any chalk that's worth buying.

My only problem with Taom Pyro is that it sticks so well I feel like I'm wasting it by chalking on every shot. I like the act of caking on chalk with Masters, it's kind of cathartic. You can really tune in to the fine details while applying it. Build up a layer and make it all the same smoothness. It's not something I do all the time, but it can get you focused if you're needing to focus.

Reviews for "Upgrade Your Pool's Aesthetic with Powder Blue Magic Pool Blends"

1. John - 2/5 stars - I was really disappointed with the Powder Blue Magic Pool Blends. I tried using it in my pool to achieve a nice blue color, but it just didn't work as advertised. The color was very faint and barely noticeable. I followed the instructions carefully, but still ended up with a lackluster result. It was a waste of money, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking to enhance the color of their pool.
2. Sarah - 1/5 stars - I had high hopes for the Powder Blue Magic Pool Blends, but they turned out to be a complete letdown. The product did not dissolve easily in the water, leaving clumps of blue powder floating around. Even after stirring and trying to evenly distribute it, the color was patchy and uneven. It also stained the walls of my pool, which was a nightmare to clean. Definitely not worth the money or hassle.
3. Michael - 2/5 stars - The Powder Blue Magic Pool Blends were a disappointment. Despite following the instructions and adding the recommended amount, the color change in my pool was minimal. It did not create the vibrant blue effect I was hoping for. Additionally, the powder took a long time to dissolve and left residues on the water surface. Overall, I found the product to be underwhelming and would not purchase it again in the future.
4. Emily - 2/5 stars - I was not impressed with the Powder Blue Magic Pool Blends. The color they provided was very faint and hardly noticeable. I expected a more vibrant and noticeable blue shade, but it fell short of my expectations. The product also left a residue on my skin and bathing suits, which was difficult to wash off. I would recommend exploring other options for achieving a true blue color in your pool.
