They had a great opportunity to finally make a decent and authentic witch-flick, but instead they managed to drag it out with boring dialog and dullness.

Overall, I was left feeling unsatisfied and unengaged throughout the entire movie.
2. Sarah - 2/5 stars: "The Witch" had a lot of potential with its eerie atmosphere and unsettling theme, but it ultimately fell short for me. The slow burn nature of the film dragged on for too long and left me bored instead of intrigued. The storyline felt repetitive and lacked any significant payoff. Moreover, the dialogue was hard to decipher, and I found myself constantly struggling to understand what the characters were saying. While the performances were decent, they couldn't save the film from its sluggish pacing and lack of a compelling narrative.
