Raised in Richmond, California, Alex Ramon developed a deep connection with magic when he was just 13 years old. His father’s colleague, a magician, often showed Alex card tricks, and Alex began dedicating hours learning and perfecting his technique. Alex’s father took notice of his son’s growing passion and natural talent for magic and bought him a 370-page magic book for Christmas that allowed Alex to take his talent to the next level.

After two years of practice, Alex finally performed his first magic show at a family gathering. Friends of the family quickly began requesting the young magician for their parties where he earned an impressive $20 per show.

Over a decade later Alex brought an unexpected twist to Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® presents Zing Zang Zoom. At age 23 Alex became the first magician and the second youngest Ringmaster in the 139-year history of The Greatest Show on Earth®. Starring as the Magical “Zingmaster”, Alex mesmerized audiences with his incredible mastery of illusions where he would make an elephant disappear, levitate members of the audience, and turn a man into a tiger all while being surrounded.

Alex Ramon has been performing in Lake Tahoe, California for over a decade with a residency where he has headlined in every local casino showroom. There is no one better who fits the title of “Mr. Tahoe” having been seen by hundreds of thousands of people who visit this vacation destination all year long. He also found success performing virtual shows during COVID which he still performs today. But he has developed a unique model of “touring” by performing consecutive nights in different locations across the U.S. in venues from theaters to people’s driveways and garages. All of this promotes his brand and results in big financial success.

1. Jennifer - 2 stars - I recently attended a magic show performed by Alex Ramon and I have to say, I was not impressed. The tricks were not original and I felt like I had seen them all before. The performance lacked excitement and I found myself getting bored halfway through. There was also a lack of interaction with the audience, which made the experience even more underwhelming. Overall, I was disappointed and wouldn't recommend attending a show by Alex Ramon if you're looking for a thrilling and unique magic experience.

2. Mark - 1 star - Watching Alex Ramon's magic show was a complete waste of time and money. The tricks were poorly executed and it was clear that he was using basic magician's techniques that anyone could learn. There was no suspense or wow factor throughout the entire performance. I felt like I could predict every move he made, which made the whole experience incredibly boring. I would advise anyone considering seeing Alex Ramon's magic show to save their money and find a more talented magician to watch.

3. Susan - 2 stars - I attended Alex Ramon's magic show with high expectations, but unfortunately, I was left disappointed. The tricks performed were nothing out of the ordinary and lacked the creativity and uniqueness that I look for in a magic performance. The pacing of the show was also off, with some tricks dragging on for too long while others were rushed through. The lack of connection with the audience further diminished the overall experience. In comparison to other magic shows I've seen, I felt like I had wasted my money on an underwhelming performance.
