The year 1962 marked the emergence of a powerful and legendary weapon known as the Magic Sword. This enchanted weapon possessed incredible properties that set it apart from any other sword in existence. Legends spoke of its ability to slice through any material with ease and defeat even the most powerful of adversaries. The Magic Sword was said to have been forged by a group of skilled and mystical blacksmiths in the heart of a hidden forest. The blacksmiths infused the sword with magical elements, enchanting it with spells and blessings that granted it extraordinary powers. The blade was made from a rare and resilient metal found only in the depths of the earth, making it virtually indestructible.

Give those a shot else wise depending if it is a HDD in a caddie you might get better results hooking it up directly to a computer Many times I swore like an Irishman because of the actual caddie device. Ok first I seriously hope you didn t format the key to ntfs to get access to the data and you had formatted the unit before having the data placed onto it.

The blade was made from a rare and resilient metal found only in the depths of the earth, making it virtually indestructible. The Magic Sword became the talk of the kingdom, with tales of its exploits spreading far and wide. It was said that with a single swing of the sword, the wielder could cut through massive boulders and fell mighty trees.

Corrupted NTFS Drive showing multiple unallocated partitions

My external hdd with a single NTFS partition was accidentaly plugged out (kids!). and is now corrupted. Iv tried running ntfsfix - with no luck - output below.. When I look at the disk under disk management in Windows 7 it shows up as having 5 partitions 2 of which are unallocated - none have drive letters and it is not possible to set any (that option and most others are greyed out) - so I can't run chkdsk /f Iv tried using Minitool partition wizard which was mentioned as a solution to another similar question here. It showed the whole drive as one partition, but as unallocated, and the option -- "Check File System" was greyout. Is there anything else I could try ? Output of fdisk -l

I have an dd image of a partition that once had a Windows 10 NTFS filesystem and then got accidentally formatted (or so I assume) and now has a pretty empty NTFS with only an empty Windows directory on it. Is it possible to recover at least some files by scanning the binary dump for Magic Bytes? I tried testdisk, foremost and some other tools without finding any file so I'm wondering if NTFS somehow works that different than FAT or ext where the contents can be found even if the filesystem is not readable any more.
