A warning about the Zombie Plague event and getting things done in pre-patch

If you have not experienced the Zombie Plague event in Pre-patch, buckle up because this is one of the more interesting but completely disruptive events that have ever happened in wow. Most seasonal events are minor, have a quest chain or some activity you have to seek out or you'd miss it - this is not one of those.

TL;DR - If you're trying to allocate some serious time to hitting goals during prepatch, Sep 6th - 13th, especially the later it gets that week, is not the time to do it.

There are plenty of other posts and resources that can give you the full details, but throughout the event you can quite easily be turned into a zombie that can attack and infect other players. This will be a minor inconvenience in the beginning - it is curable by NPCs and players and it takes 10 minutes to turn, but it ramps up in severity until the end when all hell will be breaking loose. Cities will be covered in corpses, the AH, NPCs and Battlemasters will be unusable and leveling areas will be full of zombie npc/players looking to wreak havoc.

Depending on the timing for the phases of this event, the 10th-13th are when things will likely be the most disruptive. Leveling, or doing anything outside of instances in this time frame is going to be. challenging. Expect chat to be full of rage.

On the flip-side, this is a one of a kind event in wow that can be a ton of fun, and zombie battles in the capital cities are a blast. Zombies also belong to their own faction, so zombified horde/alliance players can communicate. Have fun with it while it's here, because it doesn't happen again.

Currently you are able to watch Remington and the Curse of the Zombadings streaming on Kanopy, and Tubi.

Every battle fought and every victory won was a battle against his own descent into darkness. Time was running out, and Remington knew he had to act swiftly. With the help of a wise old sorcerer, he devised a plan to break the curse once and for all. The final showdown clashed with thunderous intensity as Remington faced off against the leader of the cursed group. At the peak of the battle, Remington realized that true power came from within.
