I love every track on this album but this one is comfortable to me, for better or worse. It captures a feeling I think unfortunately most of us have felt. Surf Curse's whole sound reminds me of loss and no more so then here. logansaxby go to album

supported by 7 fans who also own “Surf Curse - Audiotree Live” This record feels like a natural development from their first release, but at the same time a big leap forward. I think the songwriting's better -- definitely more melodic -- and the sound is way lusher, sweeter, and clearer. (Always helps to have Jarvis Taveniere on board.) There's a greater variety of textures, too, including lovely strings on Trust and a more dissonant, mysterious vibe on Hour of the Wolf. Besides those two, Disco and River's Edge are my other favorites. Joe Madden go to album

If you were knocking around the downtown L.A. all-ages club the Smell in the 2010s, you probably heard “Freaks,” or a whole bunch of songs more or less in line with it. Surf Curse, which formed in Reno before moving to L.A., was part of a boomlet of bands born in the wake of Best Coast and Wavves that played catchy, melancholy punk songs about feeling lost and lonely in the SoCal sun.

Reviews for "Surf Curse Luve: Why We Keep Coming Back for More"

- Rachel - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Surf curse luve". The songs all sounded the same, there was no variation in the beats or melody. The lyrics were also lackluster and didn't leave any lasting impression. I was hoping for something more dynamic and creative, but unfortunately, this album fell flat for me.
- Mark - 1 star - This album was a complete waste of time. The vocals were off-key and the instrumentals were messy and uncoordinated. I couldn't find a single track that I could enjoy or even tolerate. It felt like the band didn't put any effort into making quality music. I would not recommend "Surf curse luve" to anyone.
- Sarah - 2 stars - I gave "Surf curse luve" a chance, but it just didn't resonate with me. The songs lacked depth and the production felt amateurish. It seemed like the band was trying to imitate other indie rock bands, but they fell short. The album lacked originality and didn't leave a lasting impression. I wouldn't bother giving it a listen.
