The eligible attractions are X, Revolution, Arrowhead Spalshdown, Colossus, Riddler's Revenge, Roaring Rapids, Viper and Goliath.
SFMM says that only a limited number of passes will be sold each day.

it's $15 and only get's you a limted amount of rides.. so you kinda have to use it wisely, as of right now, this Fastpass has not been opened on X.

We saw them advertising this when we were there. What a ripoff! MM has so few fun rides as is, that it is disgusting that we will have to wait that much longer to get on them now. Plus, that list is so weird. No Batman? No Deja Vu? But Arrowhead and Colossus are on there? Weird. Well, hopefully they will spend the money on a whole bunch of flat rides, which they DESPERATELY need.

From a purely business perspective, this could work for Six Flags if it coupled Fast Lane with aggressive admission discounts.
The idea would be to undercut Disneyland and Knott's at the front gate. And if you're happy with the loooooong waits, so be it. But if you want to pay the extra cash, you get the shorter waits for about the same cost as Disney and Knott's.
Yeah, it reeks of a bait and switch. ('Cause many folks won't know what's up 'til they get to the park. They'll just come based on the cheap admission price.) But Six Flags should be able to work it for a summer or so. And, who knows, maybe this two-tier pricing model (cheap for long waits, more expensive without) might actually get some public support.
Lord, I hope not, though.

If Magic Mountain were to lower admission they'd get nailed big time! Patrons would buy the Fastlane, but still Disney would win over Magic Mountain. and this is why.
Disney would charge $43 and the fastpass is "free," In essence the fastpass is not really free, most people who visit Disneyland get a fastpast then head off to shop and eat. There you go. easily $20 on food, for the burger fries and soda for a couple of thrill seekers.
As we all know Disney mercahndise can cost an arm and a leg, and is more popular then any warner bros. merchandise. so in essence the patron who visits D-land may be paying $40 plus on their fastpass. even of they're not using the fastpass system.

Don't forget that most of MM's customers are probably Season Passholders, which means they will be going into the park after the first time having not spent a cent, in theory. So say a group of these walk in and notice the park is full. All they want to ride are the popular rides, so why not forget lunch and walk right on the rides?
Well, I had a Season Pass for Marine World last year and it was busy EVERY TIME, so we might have used this on our last visit. IF IT WASN'T SO FRICKIN' EXPENSIVE! I can do enough math to figure out that 4 bucks a ride (or so) is still WAY more expensive than lame carnival rides. They would probably do better if they sold them for time increments instead. Say 15 bucks to walk on ANY ride for 3 hours. That might be worth it.
