1. In the end…Zelena was powerless, with only Regina there to protect her from Storybrooke’s wrath. I think she would have realized that she didn’t have much of a choice, but to become a better person, and would have gradually over time redeemed herself in the eyes of Storybrooke. 2. Zelena’s redemption would be just the same as Regina’s was, but only a lot easier. Of course…judgmental Storybrooke would be judgmental, and wait till Zelena risk her life a few hundred times and still not forgive her, but eventually one day they will. But what would make Zelena’s redemption so much easier is that she’d have Regina holding her hand through it…. Regina’s been there done that with NO ONE”S help. Henry left, stayed with Charmings, and manipulated her love against her to suit him and his “blood” family needs, the Charmings practically pounced on her the first chance they got to make her the bad guy, SB wouldn’t accept her, and Rumple bragged about how she’d never find her happy ending….not to mention Regina had a very painful redemption arc with Daniel dying, Cora dying, Charmings & SB turning on her…but eventually she managed to claw her way up the Mountaintop of Redemption. And did so with NO ONE”S help. So Regina knows first hand how it feels to be in Zelena’s position, and according to Lana Parrilla, Regina was even going to once say “It’s nice to have family in town”. So without a doubt…Regina would have helped her sister find her redemption, and eventually her own happy ending. Regina would have been Zelena’s Tinkerbelle.

3B wasn t about Oz, it was about one of the characters in Oz, with snippets of other Oz traits, but the story took place in Storybrooke, and for that, I was glad to see them back in what s become their home town. Magic seems to be an innate talent but still something you have to train at Zelena was trained by the dark one and without that training, she probably wouldn t be half of what she was So I think her power is a mix of natural talent and great education.

When 'Once Upon a Time' first started it was highly addictive and made the most of a truly great and creative premise. Really loved the idea of turning familiar fairy tales on their heads and putting own interpretations on them and the show early on clearly had clearly had a ball. Watched it without fail every time it came on and it was often a highlight of the week. Which was why it was sad when it ran out of ideas and lost its magic in the later seasons.

The second half of Season 3 showed a lot of promise after "New York City Serenade", which did a great job following one from one of 'Once Upon a Time's' most special episodes "Going Home". This promise shows no signs of diminishing with "Witch Hunt", a fine episode and in the better half of Season 3, a season where for me the episodes ranged from pretty good to brilliant (leaning towards the positive opinion for the episodes that had a mixed reception).

It may lack slightly the shocking revelations and game changing seen in the previous two episodes. There is though in "Witch Hunt" a good deal of plot and character progression and the fresh twists and ideas introduced in "New York City Serenade" are thankfully not wasted and build on the big potential seen before.

Loved that there was a different side to the relationship between Emma and Regina and Robin Hood's role and his chemistry with the Evil Queen in the flashbacks (very engrossing and added a good deal to both characters) were delightful. It doesn't feel like we are going round in circles or ground to a halt.

Can't fault the acting from especially Lana Parrilla, Jennifer Morrison and Sean Maguire. Rebecca Mader continues to cast a spell in the most positive of ways.

Furthermore, "Witch Hunt" is a very handsomely mounted episode visually, the settings and costumes are both colourful and atmospheric, not too dark or garish and never cookie-cutter. It is photographed beautifully too. The music is haunting, ethereal and cleverly used with a memorable main theme. Writing has the right balance of humour, pathos, mystery and intrigue.

In summary, great. 9/10 Bethany Cox

Flashback. Hades goes to Oz to offer his services to Zelena in order to make a time travel spell so she can go back and enact revenge on Regina, even though she had nothing to do with their mother leaving her. Zelena at first rebuffs him, but she’s not getting any information by threatening the munchkins, and a persistent Hades appeals to her by highlighting their similarities. So she relents, swayed by a shared family abandonment and desire for revenge.

Tatsuya, being an "Irregular," faces discrimination and suspicion from others who see him as a threat. The story addresses the societal consequences of such discrimination and the resilience of characters in overcoming these challenges. The comic book also explores politics and power struggles within the magical world. Tatsuya becomes involved in various conflicts and conspiracies, where different factions vie for control and dominance. These political elements add depth to the narrative and showcase the complexities of the magic-infused society in which the characters live. In addition to the engaging storyline, The Irregular at Magic High School comic book is known for its detailed and dynamic artwork. The illustrations bring the magical world and action sequences to life, enhancing the overall reading experience for fans.
