What's Halaloween? Halaloween screens horror films from across the globe that were made by, for, or about Muslims with the hopes of understanding “What scares Muslim audiences? Are horror movies halal?”
This year’s 2022 festival will be both in person and online, screening one film a week during the month of October, and ending with an in-person screening at the State Theater, Friday, October 28, 2022, at 7:00 PM. Each online screening will be available to watch for a week, all screenings are free.

1. Sam - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Autumn Magic Carpet Camellia. The plant arrived looking very unhealthy and the leaves were already browning and falling off. I followed the care instructions provided, but it just kept getting worse. I reached out to customer service, but they were not very helpful either. I ended up having to return the plant and get a refund. Overall, a very frustrating experience.
2. Emily - 3 stars - I had high hopes for the Autumn Magic Carpet Camellia, but it didn't meet my expectations. While the plant did bloom with beautiful flowers, they were very sparse and didn't last very long. Additionally, the plant didn't seem to thrive in my garden, even though I provided it with the recommended conditions. It just didn't bring the desired "magic" to my garden that I was hoping for.
3. Mike - 2 stars - I purchased the Autumn Magic Carpet Camellia because I wanted a low-maintenance and hardy plant for my garden. However, I found that it required a lot more care and attention than advertised. The plant struggled to survive in my climate and required frequent watering, pruning, and protection from extreme weather conditions. It was not the easy-care plant I was expecting, and I feel disappointed with my purchase.
