Riddler s Revenge We ended up waiting well over an hour for this ride as the station had a ridiculously horrible setup that confused us all about how we get to the line of the row we wanted to get it. This ride also like to stall up on the top of the lift which makes it a shit load more scarier especially when you are in the front because you are left hanging there almost upsidedown for several seconds, but as soon as you get going and do that flip where you re staring right at the ground, fucking freaky as hell but so amazing.

Just went to Magic Mountain for the first time, here are my ride reviews.
Apocalypse: Nothing special, it was a lot of fun sure but very similar to most modern wooden coasters today, but the track going through the station was a very nice touch, along with the fire. Had about an hour long line at the time, not worth it.
Batman The Ride: Very short, but a lot of fun. It was very intense however and I really enjoyed it. Pulled a lot of g's which is always a plus.
Colossus: Expected this to be a quite rough ride given the fact it was made in the 70's, however I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be one of the smoothest wooden rides I've been on. Wasn't intense or anything but still a lot of fun, especially when they have both sides synced up and racing, can be a bit scary your first time because as you approach the top of the lift you slow down to a near dead stop and almost seems as if you are going to fall back. This ride had a walk on wait which was also surprising given how fun it was.
Goliath: One of my favorites after riding it a couple times, that first drop is amazing especially going into that tunnel which seems so tiny as you're coming down. I wish it could have had more airtime hills besides the one but still an amazing ride. This ride also likes to come to a near stop at the top of the hill which makes it even scarier since you're left staring down 255' of track for multiple seconds until you get going, and also on the first brake run they stop you nearly all the way, sometimes they do. We got stopped completely for about 30 seconds before we got going again off of it which freaked several riders. Also the helix is fucking amazing, seems to last a long fucking time as you're pulling nearly 5 gs spiraling into the ground. Well worth the hour+ wait.
Green Lantern: Not the tallest or fasted ride obviously, or even the longest, but it was really fucking intense. We were only able to flip once at the end because all 4 of us weighed about the same but the ride op said with a large enough weight difference from both sides you can manage to flip well over 5 times. We waited about an hour for it and that was right as the park opened, quickly went up to 2+ hours when we got off. Not worth that much, but defiantly an hour.
Ninja: I loved this ride, it didn't go up high and it didn't go upside down, but was a lot of fun. It was went quite past mostly as it soared and swung through the trees around the mountain and over the water at the log ride.

Tatsu: Was the first ride we went on when we got the park and it was un fucking believable. Never been on a flying type ride before and was completely blown away. An experience I've never experienced before and I loved every second of it, the mixed feeling of flying and falling was great. Also the pretzel loop element, wow. You approach it looking down at the track wondering "what the fuck is that and how do we get down there?" when the next thing you know you're dive bombing down to the ground where you are then glued to the seat staring straight up and come back up. It was amazing. Worth the hour and a half wait.
Viper: Rough, very rough. Made it less enjoyable but the drop and all of the inversions were fun. It was a walk on for us which was fine, but anything over that is a waste.
X2: Wow. Thats really all I can say. Hands down the best coaster I've ever been on in my life. Never have felt that way on a roller coaster before, and I've never been as freaked out on a ride that much before when I was in the station, on the lift hill, and mid-ride. However we didn't get the train with the Metallica and Full Metal Jacket quotes as you go up the hill which was very very disappointing but the ride was still great without it. We waited 30 minutes for this ride because as we got to it it stopped on the lift and over half the line just left (this was at like 8:30 and the park closes at 9) putting us well farther ahead. It tends to get a 3 hour line though so try and get to this ride when it first opens. This is a must ride if you've never been there before or ridden it before.
Scream!: Fairly smooth for the most part and pretty fast with a lot of inversions to keep you on your feet. We waited about half an hour for this which seemed pretty reasonable because it was fun but not extreamly fun. This is the same as Medusa at SFGA and almost like a not as good version of Medusa at SFDK, either way its still fun so long as the line is fairly short.
Revolution, Deja Vu, and Superman are not listed because we were never able to fit them in with our time frame. We were there for three days and rode a couple of the rides twice but because waits were fucking long we just didn't have the time.
EDIT: The thing that really sucked was just that Scream! seemed to be the only ride with line wait markers, at SFDK every roller coaster has markers in the line telling you how long the wait would be from that point, and Magic Mountain was laggin that. Also we didn't know where the lines led so it was hard to judge how long was too long. But if you want to go there and want to at least get everything done, plan to go for more than a day, or else plan to just ride the really major rides because unless youre going on like a wednesday or later in the season don't expect to get all of them done.
