Police arrest suspect in Campbellsville Graffiti case

The Campbellsville Police Department initiated investigation into the vandalism of two Churches and two businesses, on Monday September 17, 2012.
News from the Campbellsville, KY, Police Department
At approximately 4amET Monday, September 17, 2012, Campbellsville Police Communications received a report of a male person riding a bicycle near the Magic Wok restaurant off of KY 210 and the presence of graffiti painted on the side of the building.

Officer Bryon Simpson responded and initiated an investigation with the assistance of Officer Brian Morgan. The alleged perpetrator was also observed at the Walmart earlier in the morning attempting to purchase additional paint, but was refused by cashiers due to not producing proper identification for the purchase.

Later Monday Morning, Officer Roger Stiles contacted the owners of Kort Physical Therapy about the graffiti painted in their sign along US 68 (West Broadway). By Monday afternoon, Officer Stiles responded to the Campbellsville Baptist Church and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, both located along North Central Avenue where graffiti messages were painted on both facilities.

Sergio (Augusta) Poveda (Chavez), Campbellsville, KY, formerly of Ecuador, was arrested, charged with five counts of criminal mischief, and lodged in Taylor County Jail by Campbellsville Police.

The Police Department is also investigating the potential connection between these incidents and the painting of graffiti on a building at Central Plaza.

Security camera footage obtained from nearby businesses provided Officers with an image and facial features of the alleged perpetrator. Further investigation identified a male person as the same one in the security footage, leading Officers to arrest Sergio (Augusto) Poveda (Chavez) of Campbellsville (formerly from Ecuador). The suspect was in possession of evidence linking him to the incidents.

Poveda Chavez was charged with five (5) counts of Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree - a Class A Misdemeanor and lodged in the Taylor County Jail.

The investigation continues. - Campbellsville Police Department

I'm still here. I'm healthy. I'm employed. Most of all, I'm thankful I can make make those statements when so many cannot.

However, it is a ridiculously bad time for one's hobby to be travelling long distances to eat in restaurants. I therefore have not dined inside a restaurant since March of this year, and it's looking like I won't feel safe dining in again until sometime next year at the earliest. It's been tough for me to keep up with my normal fiveish (Finkle) post per month schedule that I maintained as recently as the simpler time known as seven months ago. I hope that I can one day resume something that resembles my travel and post schedule from the before times. In the meantime, you probably won't hear much from me aside from occasional cutesy rhyming blog posts, as my motivation to write vanishes in all but the best of times.

Back in early June when it looked for an instant like the worst was behind us, I donned my favorite mask and took a cautious, socially distant, multi-state trip across the Midwest to order from some of my favorite broken chain drive thrus as well as some I hadn't experienced before. It was a welcome taste of the old normal, even if I did have to sleep in my car. Of course, not long after my return home, things began to trend much worse than they had been, and I haven't ventured out of my home state of Michigan since. I can't muster the motivation to write much about those experiences from the road in late spring, but I thought I'd share some of the pictures I took along the way, as well as a few from a late February trip to what was then Lexington, Kentucky's newest Taco Tico operating out of a nicely converted G.D. Ritzy's building. I reserve the right to author full Broken Chains posts about any and/or all of these experiences in the future, but for now, it is my hope that the pictures will provide some distraction from what has been a pretty terrible year, and is likely to stretch into an equally terrible two to three year period.

The Taco Tico at the corner of Man O War Boulevard and Pimlico Pike opened in February. It's still going strong, and another location has since opened across town in a former Arby's, making a total of three Taco Tico locations in Lexington, more than any other town outside of Kansas.
Modern signage and menu boards adorn the drive thru.
The dining area has been completely remodeled. These pictures were taken in February. The dining area closed not long after this, but the drive thru remains open.
A curved corner hints at the building's origins as a G.D. Ritzy's.
This may have been the last time I dined in at a fast food place.

Its powerful motor and sharp blades can handle a wide range of tasks, and its 17 piece set provides various cups, lids, and blades to cater to different needs. Whether you want to blend a single serving of a beverage or make a large batch of salsa, this blender has got you covered..

Reviews for "Conjuring Delicious Dishes: Enhancing Your Cooking with the Occult Bullet 17 Piece Blender"

1. Sophie - 1 star - I was really disappointed with the Occult bullet 17 piece blender. Firstly, the blend quality was terrible. No matter how long I blended my smoothie, there were always chunks of fruits and vegetables left behind. Secondly, the blender was incredibly loud. It sounded like a jet engine taking off in my kitchen and it was just unbearable. Overall, I would not recommend this blender to anyone.
2. Michael - 2 stars - The Occult bullet 17 piece blender was a big letdown for me. The design seemed promising and the price was affordable, but the performance was subpar. I found that the blender struggled to blend tougher ingredients like ice and frozen fruits. It constantly got jammed and I had to constantly stop and start the blending process. Additionally, the plastic parts of the blender were not durable and cracked easily. It didn't last long before I had to replace it with a more reliable blender.
3. Emma - 2 stars - I purchased the Occult bullet 17 piece blender with high hopes but unfortunately, it failed to meet my expectations. The blades of the blender were not sharp enough to quickly and effectively blend ingredients. I often had to shake and tilt the blender to get everything blended evenly. Furthermore, the blender leaked liquid from the bottom when I was blending something with a higher water content. It was a messy experience and I wouldn't recommend this blender to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient option.
