Only then could the curse be lifted, and the kingdom restored to its former glory. Many volunteers stepped forward, each hoping to be the hero who would save the kingdom. But the hermit cautioned them, warning that the journey would be treacherous and that the sorceress's lair was protected by dangerous creatures and dark magic. In the end, a young and humble villager named James was chosen for the task. Equipped with a sword forged by the finest blacksmiths, a map of the forbidden forest, and the blessings of the kingdom, James set off on his dangerous quest. The journey was filled with close encounters with mythical creatures and traps set by the sorceress to protect her lair. Yet, James pressed forward, determined to save his people and break the curse that had plagued them for centuries. After days of treacherous travel, James finally reached the sorceress's lair. 1. Sarah - 2 stars - I found "Once upon a curse" to be extremely disappointing. The plot was predictable and lacked any real depth or originality. The characters were one-dimensional and their actions felt forced. The supposed twists and turns were easily predictable and the ending was just rather underwhelming. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone looking for a unique and engaging fantasy read.
2. John - 1 star - "Once upon a curse" was a complete letdown. The writing style was dull and uninspired, with flat and uninteresting descriptions. The pacing was incredibly slow, and I found myself struggling to stay engaged throughout the book. The characters were forgettable and lacked development, making it impossible to connect with them. The plot lacked any real excitement or intrigue, leaving me bored and unenthusiastic about the entire reading experience. I would not recommend this book to anyone, as there are far better fantasy novels out there.
