Throughout history, there have been tales and legends of people being **cursed by the divine**. These curses are believed to be inflicted upon individuals as a form of punishment or retribution for their actions or behavior. These curses often have disastrous consequences, bringing misfortune, suffering, and even death to those unfortunate enough to be affected by them. In Greek mythology, the gods often used curses to punish mortals who dared to challenge or disrespect them. One famous example is the curse of the Titan Prometheus. In his defiance of Zeus, Prometheus stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity.

Counselors join their teams in the fray seeking to instill the best spirit of the game but they will let be what will be!

The Houses of Arko, Draech, Sahn-Gliér, Áquilah, Hákkarl and Hart collaborate and compete in games that seek to instill integrity, chivalry, creativity and collaborative play. Drama Go behind the scenes and create a magic wand in the prop shop, design a button for your wizard cape in the costume shop, and enjoy drama games on a real theatre stage.

Camp of magical adventures

Campers never know what is coming next… every moment is a mystery! Live in the moment as we explore, serve, and
experience what the Crystal Coast has to offer. During the week we will caravan along the coast and engage in a
magical assortment of memorable, meaningful, fun and unpredictable activities! *Will follow the Night Owl schedule,
for awesome nighttime adventures as well! *

Magical Mystery Tour strives to nurture spiritual growth in our campers through interaction with the wonders of God’s
creation and to foster deep relationships with Christ in our churches, communities, and the world. Our camp programs
create purposeful opportunities to plant seeds and have campers grow spiritually throughout the day. At morning watch
campers receive a seed for thought, providing them with a focus for the day. Bible study grants living water for
campers to seek teachings directly from the bible based upon what was planted earlier that morning. At vespers one of
our staff or a local pastor speaks directly on the subject, giving a strong root system for campers to reach further out in
their faith. Devotions are opportunities for campers to ask questions and debrief on the day so they may begin to grow
further in their faith in Christ.

Adventure campers will enjoy many other activities such as sailing, low ropes challenge course, giant swing, archery,
arts and crafts, tree climbing, swimming in our pool, skit night, and much more! (See our mock schedule of events.)

Adventure camps are organized in family groups. Each family group typically consists of 5 boys and 5 girls with a
male and female counselor. Family groups participate in all activities together and are housed separately by gender in
platform tents and pitched tents off site. Depending on registration numbers, some family groups are single-gendered.
Family groups are organized by camper age and cabin mate requests.
