While the skelly curse is something everybody wanted basically from the start of the game, that's why I think it's very unfair.

The Curses are unique cosmetic items you can earn by completing particular Tall Tale adventures multiple times, through difficult accomplishments, or by being a Pirate Legend and working through Season passes. With this curse, your body will be nothing but bones, a unique appearance, but one fitting Flameheart s perspective of how all pirates should appear.
