Once upon a time, in a small village nestled in the mountains, there was a humble cobbler named Luca. Luca was known throughout the village for his remarkable ability to repair shoes. Many people would come from far and wide to have their beloved footwear fixed by Luca. But Luca had a secret. Hidden away in the back of his workshop was a magic shoe repair kit that had been passed down through generations of cobblers in his family. This kit contained a special potion that, when applied to any shoe, could restore it to its original condition, no matter how worn or damaged it was.
On the other side of each event’s section, life-size Miku figures were also displayed for photo opportunities.
The folks at Geek Lab headed down to check it out, so keep reading for a tour through the event, from experiences featuring the latest technology to tempting merch. Every year Hatsune Miku releases a new Magical Mirai album packing a bunch of amazing songs that you can expect to be performed at the annual event which is also called “Magical Mirai”, often spanning several days and in cities such as Tokyo and Osaka.
This year however has been a bit of a bummer seeing how the Osaka concerts have been postponed due to COVID-19. Despite the complications, the album Magical Mirai 2020 will be released as scheduled and you can already pre-order your copy at CDJapan, officially released on Miku’s birthday on August 31, the day the voice synthesizer was released.

1. Lily - 2 out of 5 stars - I was really disappointed with my experience at Magic Shoe Repair. Not only did they not fix my shoes properly, but they also charged me a ridiculous amount of money for a simple repair. When I confronted them about the poor quality of their work, they were unapologetic and refused to offer a refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
2. John - 1 out of 5 stars - The service at Magic Shoe Repair was absolutely terrible. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and they seemed more interested in pushing their expensive shoe care products than actually fixing shoes. I brought in my favorite pair of shoes, and not only did they not fix them correctly, but they also damaged them further. I was extremely disappointed and will never be returning to this establishment.
3. Emma - 2 out of 5 stars - I had a terrible experience at Magic Shoe Repair. They claimed to be experts in shoe repair, but they clearly lacked the skills and knowledge necessary to properly fix my shoes. Not only did they not fix the issue I had brought them in for, but they also caused additional damage to the sole of my shoe. When I raised my concerns, they were dismissive and unapologetic. I would not recommend their services to anyone in need of quality shoe repair.
